Construction Details

Frame
Kiln dried hardwood. Once assembled, frames are wrapped in 2lb foam exceeding industry standards. Made with responsibly-sourced wood.

First, I love the style, the leather is soft and it is wonderfly comfortable and has enough room for me to kick back with my legs up, and accomodate two rotten pups. The downside and why I have 4 stars is because the seat cushions do not sit flush (unlike photo) and there are gaps between each cushion...and they will not stay put so I am constantly fixing them. The Joybird crew did send me double sided sticky Velcro and it has helped some but it would have been much, much better if the Velcro strips had been sewn onto the fabric underneath during production.
So...my grades are: Color A+, Style A+, Comfort A+, quality of seat cushion production assembly is a C ...however, you can tell that each piece I have (along with my Hughes ottoman & armless chair) is hand crafted and not assembly line because they are not "visually perfect" but I still looooooove each peice!
