I recently purchased two of the Hopson chairs in Key Largo Ash, a pretty mid-tone grey. I decided to go with the Hopson design after speaking with a Joybird rep and asking which chair was the most comfortable between the Hopson and the Hughes. He told me he thought the Hopson was more comfortable. I also like the fact that it has a removable back cushion. You can flip the seat and back to get extra wear. The only "issue" I have is that it has such low arms that you can't really snuggle down into a corner (my preferred reading position). That's my fault for not measuring that out. It sits very firm and for me, it's like a a seat and a 1/2 because it is so wide. My husband has had no issues with the chair as he props up his feet on the matching ottoman and manages to fall asleep sitting straight up. It can't be too bad if you can do that.

I do have animals, so the Key Largo fabric was chosen based on it's pet-friendly label. So far my cats have been pretty good about not clawing at it. They tried once or twice and no snags were apparent after they were yelled at and run off. I think it will be a pretty sturdy fabric as it is a tight weave.

The service at Joybird was exceptional. They are available through chat, email and phone. The delivery was smooth and timely once the furniture was ready to ship. I would definitely recommend Joybird to others looking for this style of furniture. Overall it is a 5 star experience.

Great, roomy chair. Looks perfect in my living room, and even though it doesn't look oversized, it's roomy enough for both me, my daughter, AND a cat!

We ordered 2 of the Hopson chairs in loft orange to match our Hopson sofa. If you're nervous about ordering furniture online and not being able to try it out first, DON'T BE! We LOVE everything about our furniture. Customer service is spot on and we will definitely order any future furniture from Joybird!

I am writing this review from my phone and for some reason I cannot click for the 5 stars but this chair is 5 stars! It is so comfortable and the color is gorgeous! When I have company over they fight to sit on the "most comfortable chair". It is wonderful. When I purchase a home it will definitely be all joybird furniture! Thank you joybird!
