- Solid beech wood. Once assembled, frames undergo a 5 stage sanding process followed by a 3 stage hand rubbed finishing process. Made with responsibly-sourced wood.

The color of the fabric and wood was exactly how I wanted. This is the first "grown up" piece of furniture I've bought. And I am in love with it's craftsmanship and high quality materials. BEAUTIFUL. The most I've EVER spent on furniture (previously only was at the IKEA level) and I would buy it again. Also it came late and I was annoyed and they gave me a 10% discount to make up for it. I really appreciated that nice effort on the customer service team.

I knew as soon as I looked through my HG TV magazine that I had to have this chair. It reminds me of something that would've been in my grandfathers home and I miss him dearly. I can't wait to buy a second one to go in my living room. I get compliments every time anyone walks in the front door. It is very well-built and worth every penny.

I had looked at chairs for months but fell in love with this design...and even thought it was more than I wanted to spend I got it any way. I love the clean lines. It's such a smart design too. The back legs stick out just a tad more than the back so the back doesn't scrape against the wall. The arms flare out right where you rest your elbows. Very comfortable cushion!
It took a bit longer than I expected to get it but I think there was a large volume of holiday orders that held them up. I placed my order 12/5/14 and received my chair 2/18/15.

I ordered 2 Soto Chairs after receiving my swatch kit. They had so many fabulous fabrics to choose from. The chair took very little time to assemble and ship. The chairs are *fabulous*. The design, quality, and wood finish are awesome. I would not hesitate to buy something else from Joybird!

Just a note to say thank you so much! Our new Soto chairs arrived last week
and we absolutely LOVE them!! They are so well made, and really
comfy, and now I just want to chuck all my other furniture out the window
and furnish my entire house with Joybird. You guys made the whole process
super easy and enjoyable. The delivery guys were great too --- they had an
a huge box in their truck from a washing machine and gave it to my kids
(ages 5 and 3), which they promptly turned into their awesome cardboard
house.
