Kiln dried hardwood. Once assembled, frames are wrapped in 2lb foam exceeding industry standards. Made with responsibly-sourced wood.

Good fit and finish.
Good seams. Color correct.
Loved the updates during the build.

Only problem I had was with the delivering people, and that is not a reflection on Joybird.

It took me a long time to decide on a fabric, but I couldn't be happier with my decision. The Hughes Chaise in Lucky Sunkist is perfect. The quality is exceptional, and I love how super firm it is, which is ideal for sitting...and sleeping! It was a great purchase that I'm sure will last me a lifetime.

Love this chaise but unfortunately, the orientation was not as I ordered. They called and verified orientation before construction but still got it incorrect. So, I had to change around my room design accordingly but customer service did compensate me most generously. So much so that I ordered another piece (Percy bench) which turned out fabulous!

My only complaint with this chaise is the cushions don't stay in place but somewhat expected due to open back/end.

I still highly recommend Joybird!!
