I looked for a while before I found exactly the piece I needed for my new house. I saw this one and it was perfect. I loved the color choices, the retro look, the length, height - everything. The order process was easy and the web site great. I was uneasy because I'd never heard of the company and they wanted pay-up-front and a long delivery window. I sent emails asking for status every 10 days or so and I got quick replies from (I think) real people, every time. In the end, it was shipped and delivered exactly on schedule and was great. I still have a list of things I need and I'm starting with Joybird.

The only thing I would change if I could would be to have holes or slots in the back of the open side so the doors could be kept closed and some components on the open side (my surround sound isn't RF so it needs to be exposed to the remote). I still may cut my own (because one of the things I love about this is the sliding doors, which currently I have to keep open), but I think an option for where you want the openings on a custom made piece like this would be reasonable.

I got the Simic credenza in the natural finish and it is so gorgeous. It is solidly built and can hold all our gadgets. There was a hiccup on the delivery, but joybird sorted it out. This credenza is the crowning glory to our living room!
