My husband and I bought a couch (from somewhere else) just before moving and then two months later discovered that the couch didn't fit in our new apartment... We wanted to make sure whatever we got the second time around was going to fit, so Joybird's ability to customize the length of the sofa was absolutely perfect for us, and the stress of "will it/won't it fit" was secondarily taken away by the free in home delivery and return shipping.

For these reasons alone, I'd absolutely shop with Joybird again. Add to it that the couch is well-built, the color (Key Largo Grass) is beautiful and the design is so cute and fits in our home very well.

My only teeny-tiny complaint is that sometimes when I'm wearing jeans or adjusting my position on the couch, I snag myself on the buttons a little on both the cushion and the back, not enough to hurt me or the couch, but I always get a little worried. However, the buttons are very secure - they haven't popped out (and don't look like they will).

I am so happy with my new custom Joybird sofa. The custom sizing provided a perfect fit to both me and my living room limitations, while also looking crisp and modern. Along with custom sizing I requested 2 seat cushions instead of one to help maintain cushion shape over long use. The movers were very careful and efficient in placing the piece during rainy weather. I definitely recommend requesting fabric and wood samples because the online rendering (specifically the wood) looks a bit different than the physical product.
