Construction Details

Frame: Kiln dried hardwood. Once assembled, frames are wrapped in 2lb foam exceeding industry standards. Made with responsibly-sourced wood.
Legs: Solid beech
Suspension: Seat - zig zag springs. Back - Poly Webbing
Joints: Glued, stapled and screwed to ensure frame stability and longevity.
Assembly: None
Style: Loose back; loose seat
Cushions: Contain no flame retardants or harmful chemicals.
Glue and Stains: Water-based, low-VOC

Product Care

Vacuum: Vacuum regularly with a vacuum attachment.
Cushions: Flip & rotate removable cushions to ensure even wear and increase longevity of your cushions.
Sunlight: Do not expose upholstered pieces to direct sunlight.
Spot Cleaning: Use a cleaning product that corresponds with your fabric's cleaning code. Always blot stains; never rub. Use a clean, dry, white cloth.

This loveseat rules. It's giant, deep, 3 people can sit on it, or one person can lay across it without having to bend their legs. It's replaced a smaller loveseat + Heywood Wakefield chair I had in the space, and takes up about the same amount of room, width wise, and still seats the same number of people. We had some huge delivery and damage-related headaches (the final mile company was the pits), and were sent some replacement bases that were easy enough for us to install ourselves (and bypass waiting for a furniture medic). While the whole delivery process was sort of botched for us, Joybird helped us throughout, and the quality of the sofas has me wanting to order some more upholstered pieces for other parts of the house!

We were very impressed with the Joybird company throughout the ordering and production process. We also love the actual product gracing our living room right now.
There was a problem with the love seat, however- which keeps me from giving a 5+ star rating. It appears that during shipment the protective plastic covering shifted and slipped off one end of the love seat. This allowed a large staple in the cardboard box to rub against and snag an upper corner on the back of the love seat. Unfortunately the love seat is in the middle of the room, leaving the snag exposed for me to see every time I pass it. Oh well. I plan to buy a throw to toss over it. I share this so care might be taken to ensure this doesn't happen in the future.
