Construction Details

Frame: Kiln dried hardwood. Once assembled, frames are wrapped in 2lb foam exceeding industry standards. Made with responsibly-sourced wood.
Legs: Solid beech
Suspension: Seat - zig zag springs. Back - spring back
Joints: Glued, stapled and screwed to ensure frame stability and longevity.
Assembly: Screw on legs
Style: Loose back; loose seat
Cushions: Contain no flame retardants or harmful chemicals.
Glue and Stains: Water-based, low-VOC

Product Care

Vacuum: Vacuum regularly with a vacuum attachment.
Cushions: Flip & rotate removable cushions to ensure even wear and increase longevity of your cushions.
Sunlight: Do not expose upholstered pieces to direct sunlight.
Spot Cleaning: Use a cleaning product that corresponds with your fabric's cleaning code. Always blot stains; never rub. Use a clean, dry, white cloth.
Cleaning Code W: Water. Use only water based cleaning products.
Cleaning Code S: Solvent. Use only water free cleaning solvents.

We bought two of these for our living room to replace 30-year old Crate and Barrel love seats. (I hope these hold up as well as those did!) They look beautiful--they're well-made, and the fabric is great. They are firm, not squishy, so if you like to sink into your sofas, these aren't for you. (Although I suppose when you've been sitting on the same love seats for 30 years, anything is going to feel firm in comparison.) Also, I like to lie down with my feet up and my head at one end, and the high profile of the armrests makes that tough to do. The seats are deep enough to add cushions, and since the backs are also somewhat high and upright, the additional cushions make this more comfortable to sit on. So looks-wise and construction-wise these are 5-star love seats, and I took a star off for comfort.

Also, customer service was great--and we loved the "build updates!"

Class without being too flashy (trashy). Style without being over-the-top. Value by a standard of: this is a piece of furniture that you keep.

Very pleased with my "loveseat" it's just the right size for my small apartment; and it really pulls the whole room together. It isn't branded with "logos" everywhere. It speaks for itself, it's solid and it's something that says who I am!
