Construction Details

Frame: Kiln dried hardwood. Once assembled, frames are wrapped in 2lb foam exceeding industry standards. Made with responsibly-sourced wood.
Legs: Solid beech
Suspension: Seat - zig zag springs. Back - poly webbing
Joints: Glued, stapled and screwed to ensure frame stability and longevity.
Assembly: Screw on legs
Style: Loose back; loose seat
Cushions: Contain no flame retardants or harmful chemicals.
Glue and Stains: Water-based, low-VOC

Product Care

Vacuum: Vacuum regularly with a vacuum attachment.
Cushions: Flip & rotate removable cushions to ensure even wear and increase longevity of your cushions.
Sunlight: Do not expose upholstered pieces to direct sunlight.
Spot Cleaning: Use a cleaning product that corresponds with your fabric's cleaning code. Always blot stains; never rub. Use a clean, dry, white cloth.
Cleaning Code W: Water. Use only water based cleaning products.
Cleaning Code S: Solvent. Use only water free cleaning solvents.

We were looking for a new couch. The pictures of the products just seemed to good to be true...it was exactly what we were in the market for. ( I even tried to find a bad review and could NOT! ) After samples came, we picked one out. Customer service wanted to make sure that we made the right choice ( with a 5 yr old and a lab) and suggested that we review the samples again by running them through a world of tests- running keys over them, spill wine, etc. Wow! That was smart. It changes our mind and we went with a great fabric choice. Bought 2 pieces and 6 pillows and can not wait to add to our collection. Great quality. Great to find that there are good American based companies that back their craftsmanship. We live in a town difficult to find good modern furniture. This was a great choice for our family- thanks Joybird!

So worth the wait! This piece made a gorgeous addition to our original 1950's home. In trying to keep the home with a mid-century feel, the Hopson Loveseat fit right in. The elegance, sleek lines and clean look make it a head turner for sure!

I was a little hesitant to order a sofa that I had never sat on, but I was not disappointed. The quality is amazing and feels really cool to have a custom piece built just for you. Delivery took a little longer than I hoped but it was worth the wait.
