Joybird customer service is great, unless you have a problem. My wife and I were thankful for the phone calls and the card we received after purchase and prior to delivery of our Stowe Love Seat, but would have appreciated the same attentiveness when we had a problem.
We received our love seat about 4-6 weeks after the original delivery date. We expected this having ordered other 'made to order' items, so that wasn't an issue. We were very excited to receive the product after such a long time. The love seat was beautiful. Unfortunately, it had a few minor blemishes on the wood base.
I contacted customer service immediately, expecting a quick response, but it took weeks to get an action to the issue. Definitely not what I expected from a company that contacted me multiple times before I received the item.
Joybird eventually sent stain to help fix the problem and also gave us a credit, so ultimately I feel like the problem was acceptably resolved. It just took a while.
This is a very nice piece of furniture. Very stylish and comfortable. It's a commanding piece of furniture, with it's square/block lines, but every time I look at it I like it more and more. I would say the main flaw is that the wood base is too easily prone to damage. Otherwise it's a great piece. I think if I was going to order something from Joybird in the future, I would seriously consider something with a metal base.
I am giving 3 stars for the overall experience (up from 2 stars when I was annoyed with the time it was taking to get resolution to our problem). If it wasn't for the issue we experienced and lengthy time to resolve, I would have rated this item 4 stars. Hopefully I have provided enough context so you can understand my rating.
