Kiln dried hardwood. Once assembled, frames are wrapped in 2lb foam exceeding industry standards.

Never easy to buy something without seeing it, touching it, etc. Especially furniture. However, we really love our Raine sleeper. The fabric looks great and the quality is awesome. Our son is now buying one for his first place.

This sofa is for guests. As a sofa it is comfortable and looks beautiful in my office/guestroom. The fabric is beautiful, cushions are great. I changed the seat cushion to 2 pieces w/o buttons. Love it! I ordered the 4" foam and found it slightly lacking in comfort. I plan to get a foam topper and add it to the mix. I have an AU sleeper 2x the price, but 2x the comfort. Customer service was excellent, would order again.
