Hughes Chair

For the first time in my life I purchased a sofa in a color other than gray or tan....and I’m so glad I did! My Hughes Grand Sofa and Hughes Chairs look amazing in my once bland living room! And the quality is amazing! Thanks JoyBird!

The Hughes chair is a little bigger than I thought, but the color looks really nice from a distance. When you see it closer, the details of the material will stand out. The sofa itself is very supportive. It even has enough room to fit both myself and my son. The quality is very good.

The color on these chairs is beautiful. They were deeper than i realized. They are great for laying back and watching House of Cards or The Americans. The pillows are full and sturdy. These chairs will be in our family for a long time.

Our Gervin sofa (in the gorgeously rich caliber sealskin) is the centerpiece of our living room. We adore the clean lines of the sofa and the generous seating area. Adding some color to the space

The chair complements the two Joybird Sofas I bought a few years ago. The Cordova fabric is soft yet extremely durable so I used that in a different color. The chair is big and you might want to measure carefully and perhaps buy the apartment size. Very pleased with the quality and look. It took about 10 weeks so be prepared to wait if you customize.

The Hughes chair is very comfy and great for curling up with a good book or an iPad. The upholstery on our ottoman is wonky, unfortunately, but the Joybird folks did their best to make it right by us.

This chair is amazing! The craftmanship that went into it does not go unnoticed! The ergonomics of the arm rests, seat height and headrest are absolutely perfect! It's nice and wide, which adds comfort and is perfect for us to sit cozy with our baby.

The Hughes chair turned out to be the perfect size. There was much angst on my part about getting the scale and color correct buying online, but the 365 day in-home trial put my mind at ease. I'm so glad that I pulled the trigger finally and ordered this chair. The Hughes chair has the simple yet elegant lines that I love without the excessive fluff that I don't.

Like the furniture, only regret so far is to have done a mid century colored leg, coffee bean really wasn't a color then but was thinking it would go best with the fabric, should have done walnut. It is making it a challenge to match side tables because mid century furniture was not made w/ dark wood. Food for thought

We had been looking for a living room chair for a long time when we saw the Hughes chair at Joybird. We loved the style of the chair, plus all the fabric options. Once it was delivered, we realized that it's just as functional as it is beautiful. It's super comfortable, and perfect for curling up with a book.

We love our Joybird furniture! We got the Hughes Chair, Ottoman, Sofa, and a Soto Chair.

We were skeptical of this purchase as we are about most purchases that we make as a rule. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and feel of the Hughes chair. The fabric is perhaps a shade darker than it appeared online, but it's hard to reproduce exact coloring in a photo on a screen that project different levels of light. The fabric that we chose feel as if it's a quality fabric, and the chair "stuffing" is pleasantly firm for good support, and soft for comfort, which allows for a variety of positions while sitting, and obviously the cats love it! We are so glad we decided to go with a Joybird piece rather than a LayZBoy and have also purchased the Hughes sofa in that beautiful caramel leather. Thanks so much JoyBird for a great, honest product!

Immediately after the new chair was delivered my cats made it their home. They dig into it with their claws and take long naps on it and it still looks great, you don't see the claw marks at all and the fabric is not a fur magnet. When they let me sit down I find it super comfy and sturdy. And, it looks awesome :)

This chair exceeded our expectations. High quality. Solid. I love that my husband and I can sit together in it. The seat is perfect as far as firmness goes. The fabric color and texture are lovely. This chair is the "piece of jewelry" I was looking for in my design. :)

We ordered the Hughes Chair & Sectional around Thanksgiving & received them around January 20th. We were pleased with the whole Joybird experience. We've been enjoying the furniture for about a month now. We've got our eye on a few more things from Joybird, now :)

I love this chair because it's big enough for me and my daughter to curl up together and read books. At least that's the plan when she's not having fun spinning around in it.

This was my first experience ordering from Joybird! It was so fun to pick the fabrics and design a custom look. As others have commented, it does take a long time to receive your items, but not longer than I've found if you custom order at a store. The fabrics are very high quality and the pieces are very well made. While I love the style and size of the Hughes chair, it has no lower lumbar support which was disappointing. The Kavi Ottoman is very sturdy - my mistakes there are that it's too high for the chair seat and the top surface is very small.

The color of my new Hughes Chair, Key Largo Denim, is probably my favorite aspect of the trio of furniture pieces I purchased from Joybird. The blue Is a perfect complement to the artwork above my mantle and draws the most attention, mine and guests, upon entering the room.

This chair is extremely comfortable, easily fits an adult person and a dog, and the construction is rock solid.

I absolutely love this chair! It is a big chair, which is what I wanted so I could curl up and read or watch TV. I am small and I like the option of tucking my legs in or using the ottoman. The whole experience of sorting through the fabric swatches and picking the chair that was right for me and my eclectic space was so much fun. There were at least five other fabric options that I would have been delighted with. In the end my boys successfully championed for the soft Royale fabric. I will definitely be purchasing from Joybird again in the future.
