The design look and feel of this chair in person is exactly how I would’ve imagined. I initially wanted just the Soto concave chair and ordered this model thinking it wouldn’t be much of a favorite but I think this has now become my favorite over the Soto concave chair. Minor unstained mark on the wood upon delivery but joybird cs will provide me a staining marker. I’m happy with that. Soto Concave Chair is awesome. It’s one of the most popular chairs on joybird and it shows. The two pairing looks great in my small studio apt.

Exquisite Mid-Century Modern armchair. The wood is solid, the cushion are comfortable, and the design is perfect.

Really fun chair that fits perfectly in a small space in our living room. The Key Largo Zenith Teal adds some great color to our room. The lower back hits me a little too low for sitting for long periods, but my daughter loves it.

We love our new Joybird chair. The quality is great, it is very comfortable and it looks beautiful. The only thing that was not great was the delivery company that took forever and cancelled on us. They did finally deliver but it was less than optimal. But like I said we really love the chair!

My new Soto Concave Arm Chair is the perfect fit to my mid-century inspired den. The color is exactly like the swatch and the wood is beautiful.

They look so good together, pretty comfy, just need an ottoman to rest our feet.

Had a hard time deciding on a fabric but glad I went neutral. Will update photo once we're done decorating. 50 year old man over today was surprised how comfortable these are!

I ordered the Soto Concave chair and found the Joybird experience to be exceptional. The chair looks great and the one-year guarantee is wonderful, I've decided to swap out the Soto Concave for the regular Soto, however, since the seat depth is a greater (I'm 6' tall). Fantastic experience with no hassle. Thank you, Joybird !

Almost two years in and we LOVE the Soto armchair. So much so we are going to buy another to keep it company. We have four kids and an active household, so we are typically not kind to our furniture, but this chair is just as comfortable as the day we bought it. Super easy to clean too!

We ordered the Hughes Sofa, Hughes Chair and Ottoman, Soto Concave Arm Chair and Ottoman and Cronin Pillows for our hearth room. The quality and craftsmanship of this furniture is second to none. Highly recommend!

Love my JoyBird Furniture!!! The Hughes Apartment Sofa and Soto Concave chair with ottoman (bottom left of photo) fit my small living room perfectly. The fabrics I chose were: Taylor Tonic for the sofa and Vista Cascade for chair/ottoman. Everything in this photo is vintage. The pink lamp:1950s. The end table: 1960. The clock radio: 1960. The coffee table: 1940s. The Chinese checkerboard game belonged to me and my brothers when we were kids in the late 1960s/1970s. My mom kept it all these years. The only thing that isn't vintage is the floor lamp.

We get the most compliments on these two chairs. The wood is absolutely beautiful and overall the chair is well made. We love the fabric, neutral but elegant.

What a beautiful chair in such luscious fabric! This chair is not just a gorgeous piece. It is also very comfortable! So much so that we are buying a second one and the ottoman. The pillows and cushions are high quality and the ratio of wood to fabric is well designed.

The woodwork on these chairs is just fabulous . They are so comfortable and beautiful. Truly a piece of art.

From start to finish, the experience with Joybird was awesome. First of all, their website is wonderful, and the photos that people submit are very helpful in making your color and furniture selections. Their fabrics are great, and they sent a full swatch collection to us. We had many questions, and they were very responsive via text and phone. The furniture arrived within the specified time frame, and we are extremely happy with it. The workmanship and quality is excellent. I would definitely recommend Joybird! I would like to point out that the chairs we bought are definitely a smaller size, as is indicated on their website, and they told me this over the phone as well. If you have a larger space you should consider the similar chairs that are larger. But we are extremely happy with them.

Love our new chair!

This is a great chair. The only thing I want to point out is that the difference between the Soto Concave and the Soto Apartment chair is the arms and that wasn't obvious to us when we were looking at them on the site. The concave arms have a bend or ridge in them and the apartment arms are smooth. Just something to know when you are deciding on which to purchase.

The Soto concave arm chair & ottoman are midcentury classics and a design I could work into just about every client's home. I recommend these a lot because they are affordable, comfortable, and come in so many great colors. I LOVE these, and so do my clients.
