National Parks

Seattle is close to three national parks — Mount Rainier, Olympic, and North Cascades. Explore lush rainforests, remote mountainsides, and dreamy waterfalls. They are located within a few hours drive from Seattle, so you can spend hours exploring these natural wonders right outside city limits. 

The Food Scene 

Seattle is full of amazing places to dine. Stop at mbar, a rooftop restaurant located in the heart of South Lake Union. They serve Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine like spiced lamb shake and baba ganoush. Enjoy views of the Space Needle while you sip an after-dinner drink. Try something like the pink Cadillac — made with Espolon Blanco tequila, lime, rose, and triple sec — yum!

Wineries

The state of Washington is home to over 900 wineries, some of which are located within Seattle itself. Bottlehouse is a cozy wine bar located in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle. What makes this wine bar so unique is that it operates out of a charming house. Snack on a charcuterie board while you sip a pinot noir (red wine) or mulled wine, which is made with mulling spices, apple cider, red wine, and served hot. 

Space Needle

We couldn’t leave out one of the most iconic spots on our list — the Space Needle! With jaw-dropping views, this one-of-a-kind experience isn’t for the faint of heart. At 605 feet in the air, the Space Needle gives you a 360-degree view of this striking city.
