Hughes Reversible Sectional

After remodeling our kitchen, we knew we needed new furniture to complete the look in our adjacent living space. I got some great ideas from Joybird's free design services and really appreciated getting my hands on the swatch kit to make sure the colors were going to be perfect. We are so excited to have a kid & pet friendly sofa that looks and feels great in our new space.

We love our Hughes Reversible Sectional! After shopping around for months, this was the first sofa we came across that delivered on design, comfort and durability. We really like the fact that the sofa has a mid-century design that feels very modern . The fabric has proven to be low maintenance and shows no signs of ware despite my twin 11 month old babies spending hours jumping on the cushions. Very pleased with our purchase!

This couch is a statement piece that ties my apartment living room space together perfectly! The green fabric is the subtle but not totally obtrusive pop of color that livens up the room. I was worried that the texture of the fabric might be too rough, but it's actually quite nice. Within the first week of its residence, I also accidentally tested it's fabric's stain-resistance properties when I dripped melted ice cream onto it--after a few dabs with a damp cloth, I can't tell where my faux pas occurred. Aesthetics aside, I love how spacious and comfortable this Hughes Sectional is. The depth of the couch is perfect and I really appreciate the subtle inclined back support. This couch serves its dual purpose as both a TV watching couch for evenings but also book-reading lounger for lazy Sundays. The cushions are firm contrast to the springy, sinking cushions on my last couch--I definitely find myself spending A LOT more time in my living room now that I have a couch that is comfortable enough for me to lounge for hours on! I also love the flexibility that the reversible sectional provides, although sometimes the sectional bit does seem to move around more than I'd like. I wish that the sectional bit came with hardware to attach the sectional to the main couch.

We have never ordered furniture without first seeing it, feeling it, sitting on it, in person. So it was a big leap of faith to order custom furniture online without trying it out first. After much anticipation, the furniture arrived and we are SO happy with it. The fabric is gorgeous (color and texture,) the seats are comfortable, and it looks lovely. We had a few glitches that are being worked out, but overall, we are very happy with Joybird and the new additions to our living room.

Joybird’s pet friendly fabrics are THE best! We used to see hair all over our former sofa but this fabric makes it so easy to swipe it off. This Hughes reversible sectional is everyone’s new favorite spot in the house! This quick ship sofa came fast (in about 2 weeks) and it is SO comfortable. Easy financing and excellent customer service made a lifetime Joybird customer!

When I first decided to purchase a new sofa, the idea was completely daunting. I spent months scouring website after website trying to find the perfect couch in my price range, never able to find exactly what I wanted. Joybird, you rock! Just got my new Hughes Reversible Sectional (in Lucky Divine) - delivered 3 wks earlier than the projected delivery date. Delivery Co (JB Hunt) was terrific, by the way. The couch is very large and has deep seating. Lucky fabric is beautiful; very light in color - but not white, and the chenille-like feel seems durable. I got the extra cushion, so it can become a traditional couch...I highly recommend this to make it even more versatile. I appreciated the progress reports - and the thank you note was a nice, personal touch! Be aware - the seat cushions are very firm, as many other customers have noted; but comfy...hoping this couch will stand up to yrs and yrs of use.

It was worth the wait. Our new sectional and swivel chair are well made, very comfortable (nice and firm, but not hard) and, as you can see, the whole family loves them.

Absolutely love it!! It did take a couple more days than expected but worth the wait. It fits my space perfectly.

Love our new couch! It is beautiful and well-made. People should know, the cushions are extremely firm and the back isn't really cushioned much so you need a lot of throw pillows.

It's spacious without taking up space. We love the option to reverse the chaise & easily put 3-4 in the couch itself when we snuggle in for a movie. Yes! We just got the Hughes Reversible Sectional. I love it! Better quality, comfort wise, than a similar mid century style sofa we got from CB2. They send free fabric swatches so you can pick exactly what you want. The build took 8 weeks, but they kept me updated through the whole process which I really appreciated.

I LOVE IT!!! it looks less turquoise in this photo...in real life it is PERFECTION. And it is so so cozy.

The dog enjoys it too.

Our Hughes Reversible Sectional arrived this week.We love it in the Vibe Sunkist fabric.It is so cheerful and firm but very comfortable. I had never made such a large online purchase before. It was fun getting updates on build and shipping. It arrived on time and we are just thrilled with it. I am so glad we chose Joybird.The quality is great and is solid.I would definitely recommend them.

I'm very happy with my Hughes Sectional sofa! I've never purchased a piece of furniture sight unseen online before and was concerned... until it arrived. The actual couch matched the website photography perfectly so there were no surprises about the appearance when it arrived. The cushions were much firmer than I expected (and was accustomed to) but I quickly grew to like the firmness. I purchased the couch with the Taylor Felt Grey fabric which looks and feels terrific. This sectional is very well built and demonstrates skillful craftsmanship. I chose the Quick Ship option to save money (be sure to look there to see if the item you want is available!) and because I needed to piece ASAP. Delivery was pretty quick, as promised. Dealing with Joybird was, well, a joy. I had questions that the website did not answer so I called them for help. All my questions were answered by a helpful and cheerful Joybird employee. All in all, it was a great experience. I won't hesitate to buy another piece of furniture from Joybird!

I love my Hughes sectional sofa and my pink soto chair. I love the color of my chair- I know a 'bubblegum pink' chair is not everyone's cup of tea, but it's perfect for me... My living room makes me happy to come home each night as I have a space that, now, really does feel like home! I am happy I didn't just play safe with my color choice. A fantastic addition to our living room! Looks great with our previously purchased Soto Apartment chair! The color is perfect, and we love the versatility of the couch. Super happy with our purchase. One thing to note - In the description of the mocha wood color, said would match the Walnut perfectly - It doesn't. Our Soto chair is Walnut, the mocha is much darker, but you don't notice it as much since the legs are less visible than the walnut legs of our Soto chair.

The color and style of these pieces (along with some nice plants) take an old boring apartment and turn it into a vibrant inviting space. The Hughes sectional fits quite well in a 20'x12' room.
