Joybird’s Updates

Through the ongoing presence of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Joybird has continued to focus on ensuring the safety of both our employees and customers.

Unfortunately, due to the catastrophic winter storms in the South, foam manufacturing was disrupted. This disruption has impacted the lead times on our custom-made upholstered goods, such as sofas, chairs and sectionals. These storms also impacted our partners’ and our own distribution centers, causing severe delays, currently being worked through, which may impact your delivery.

Additionally, port congestion and global container shortages have increased overseas shipping times significantly which may impact shipping times for some of our non-upholstered items like consoles, tables and shelving. Increased domestic shipments have led to capacity restraints for items on truck and railway, which has increased delivery times even further.

We’ll continue to do everything we can to get your order to you as soon as possible. Due to lighter staffing and the above logistics issues, there may be some unforeseeable delays. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. The safety of our employees, partners involved, and customers always comes first.

Our New York City, Chicago and DC showrooms are open for in-person shopping. We continue to follow Federal and State Guidelines around limited capacity, social distancing and safety. All shoppers and employees are required to wear masks at all times, and that they practice social distancing while shopping with us. Staff will be cleaning and sanitizing high traffic areas along with frequently touched items. Additionally, we will have extra masks and hand sanitization stations for those shopping with us. If you do not feel comfortable shopping in person with us, we offer Virtual Appointments at each of our showrooms, where you can set up a video or phone call with one of our in-store stylists. To learn more, please visit joybird.com/showrooms.

Our corporate offices remain closed and employees have been working from home in order to promote social distancing.

Our manufacturing and warehouse facilities are being regularly monitored and sanitized. Our delivery partners are ensuring the health and wellbeing of their drivers, who have been trained and equipped to minimize human contact. Customers can opt for a "contactless" threshold delivery, where the carrier will deliver the order to the front step, garage, or nearest building entrance.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding and for being a part of our Joybird family.
